Diagnosis

This complicated project was an NHBC insurance claim. Water had been entering an underground access corridor through the concrete roof and walls via defective construction joints making the space unsafe. It had been closed off for over a year.

 

Solution

We waterproofed the soffit with Vandex BB75E, reinforced points of water ingress with Vandex Waterplug and applied a full cavity drain membrane system to walls and floor.

This now provides a pleasant, safe access to the swimming pool and other below ground facilities.
