HENLEY PAVILION, MILL MEADOWS

1/6

Diagnosis

We were asked by Henley in Bloom, a sub-committee of the Henley-on-Thames Town Council’s Recreation and Amenities Committee, to brighten up the wall of a council-owned building by the river. This wall had a historic problem of being regularly defaced by graffiti.

Solution

We were more than willing to supply and install a green wall, a natural extension of our green roof works. We isolated the structure from the building with Newton 508 membrane and the council gardeners planted the wall and will maintain it in the future.

The improvement provides an attractive backdrop for the picnickers of Mill Meadow and an opportunity for a few of us at Stonehouse to celebrate Mat’s forthcoming nuptials!
