THE LANSDOWNE CLUB, MAYFAIR

1/5

Diagnosis

In the Lansdowne basement squash courts there was a problem with balls not bouncing truly. Salts within the earth retaining walls had contaminated the plaster causing an uneven surface.

Solution

The wall plaster was removed, a tight coat of Stonehouse Premix No. 5 was applied followed by two coats of Vandex BB75 waterproofing slurry. A specialist plaster for squash courts was applied over these waterproofing layers and the game resumed!
